Our commitment to being an Anti-Racist Learning Organisation
At St. Andrew’s Primary School, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every learner feels valued and respected. As an anti-racist learning organisation, we actively work to challenge racism, within our school community.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to reflect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our learners. We ensure that the learning experiences we offer are representative and meaningful, helping learners see themselves and others in their environments and through purpose led projects.
At age-appropriate levels, we openly discuss anti-racism and provide opportunities for learners and families to share their lived experiences. This approach not only fosters empathy and understanding but also empowers our whole school and wider community to build connections grounded in respect, fairness and unity.
We are also committed to ongoing professional learning across the school, to ensure that our staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to nurture an anti-racist culture and effectively support our learners.
Together, we are committed to learning, growing, and standing against racism, building a brighter future for us all.
